Want to experience a classic 6-night stay at Casa Gregorio Mare?
The 6-Night Casa Gregorio Mare Program is Our Brand New Program
The culinary experience begins with transfers from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Casa Gregorio Mare. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a “Benvenuti” and check-in at the villa, followed by a welcome aperitivo. After check-in, you will embark on a walk to the beach, familiarizing yourself with the Mediterranean seaside town of Terracina. After the walk, Casa Gregorio invites guests to an early dinner featuring local wines in one of our dining rooms, concluding with an after-dinner liqueur.
After enjoying a vibrant breakfast on-site, we will embark on an adventurous exploration of Terracina and the historical beauty of the medieval town. We will visit the old Roman Opera House and explore the Roman Temple of Giove, situated at the highest point of the mountain, offering breathtaking views of the nearby seaside towns and islands. Guests will also have time to shop in town, followed by lunch at a local fishery. After returning to the property, you will join our Chef to prepare your first 4-course Mediterranean seafood meal in our new gourmet cooking kitchen. Dinner will be served in our dining room.
Following breakfast at our seaside property, we will start our day with an olive oil-tasting experience at Quattrociocchi, where we will receive a presentation and sample their award-winning oil and products. Our second stop will be at the Sant’Andrea Winery to taste and experience their sophisticated wines. Lunch today will be enjoyed in the coastal town of San Felice Circeo. When we return to our property, you will once again join our Chef to prepare a traditional non seafood four-course Italian meal. Dinner will be served at the property, accompanied by wine and after-dinner liqueurs, celebrating our culinary achievements together.
After breakfast at our seaside property, we will head to the town of Sermoneta, with an optional tour of Castle Gaetani. This historical medieval hamlet exudes charm and was once home to the prominent Gaetani and Borgia Families. Next, we will sample artisan chocolates at a local chocolatier— a sweet treat for the palate. Lunch will be in the town of Bassiano, famous for its prosciutto. Upon returning to the Mare Property, you will participate in a cooking class with our Chef, where we will prepare another four-course Italian meal, followed by dinner.
After breakfast, we will visit the Farmer’s Market to collect items for tonight’s final seafood menu with time for shopping. This will be followed by a tour of the Sanctuary of the Montagna Spaccata, with stunning views of the sea in the coastal town of Gaeta. Lunch will be served at a mountainside restaurant with picturesque views of the bay and sea. After lunch, we will explore the beautiful coastal town of Sperlonga, where you can enjoy gelato while touring the city. Back at our Mare Property, together with our Chef will prepare a final 4-course seafood meal for you to enjoy in our dining room, accompanied by wine and after-dinner liqueurs.
Today, after breakfast, the Mare Patio is yours to decide how to spend your free day. Whether you choose to take a local boat charter for a water tour, the ferry to the island of Ponza, or simply relax at the beach, we can assist you in arranging transportation for these activities. As you cannot leave without savoring a delicious Italian pizza, dinner this evening will be at a local seaside restaurant.
Sadly, your final day arrives too soon. After breakfast, gather your newly acquired cooking skills, pack your bags, and prepare to travel back to the airport.
